This weekend, the kids enjoyed crafting candy trains at the Annual Organic Family Christmas Bash. Grandma O brought fun-size and snack size candy bars, smarties, lifesavers, and holiday m&ms. We whipped up a batch of Royal Icing to aid in assembly--there were differing opinions as to the methods of icing usage, but all was well in the land of
Flash on foil makes for an interesting reflection, yes? (like the prisms in Pollyanna). The children also played Plinko and made candy countdowns to Christmas. Later, the Organic adults gathered to exchange white elephant gifts. I scored some Lindt truffles, stealing them from my bro. Now they sit on the counter and taunt me - thievery is an awful burden.
