No words. Just a bit sick and tired. And tired of sickness. Caring for two kids with chicken pox and one recovering from surgery somehow landed me with a case of shingles. So, yes, I'm a real joy to be around these days.

I think it's time to pull out my journals and flip through looking for gratitude stickers. I'm a wee bit in danger of losing perspective - but it will pass.

Shingles??! Man! I feel your pain. I had them in grad school down my spine. Ugh.
I'm so sorry. :(

Oh poor you! Tom got the Shingles a few months ago. It was so bizarre because he only got them on his front and inner right thigh but when he went to the doctor he found out that it can happen a in certain pattern like that.

Though his outbreak was small it was really painful. He was so glad they weren't everywhere.

Daman@tion! Wish I lived close by to help take care of the kids for you and give you some rest.

Ooooohhh, I am so sorry. I have never had them but have had a lot of people close to me experience shingles and I hear it is miserable. I hope you (and your kids) have a speedy recovery.

ew - I can't imagine it all down my spine, that must've been terrible.

summer - poor Tom. Mine are in a little pattern too (all around my right shoulder blade, pit, and shoulder).

choc - that sums it up perfectly and I'm sure my girls wish yours lived closer too.

kim - Right now I'm itchy, but only have a little pain. If I have to choose between the two, I think itchy is best - annoying but doable.

tirzah - I have them in my journals on the pages where I wrote about ways we were blessed so I could flip through and find them easily.
