Happy Hippie Chicks

Voila! This is a Buggy Barn quilt that has been modified to fit a queen bed and quilted with stars and loops by my friend Wendy (who does amazing work at fabulous prices, btw)

A close-up of a chick and the quilting

The fabric on the back is not pieced, it's a WIDE piece of printed fabric. I love the binding!

Another close-up

One more quilt (#3 on the list) is finished, with a baby one right behind it. This should mean I only have 5 more until I'm caught up, but it doesn't. The sad truth is that I suffer from Quilter's Closet Denial - there are at least 5 more for binding (although they are much smaller), and 3 more for stitching up. Slow and steady wins the race, yah?

Beautiful! Is it a quilt you made or your friend Wendy?

Oops, that was a bit confusing the way I wrote that - I sewed it up and had my friend machine quilt it for me. If I didn't have her quilt them, I'd never empty out my project closet.

I love it! All the bright colors are so cute together. What a fun darling quilt. Again look at all your talent.

Y'all are so sweet, & that just means you're going to see quilt after quilt until you're pretty well sick of them :)

Kay, that has chickens on it so that means you have to give it to me, your new best friend!
