These photos remind me that spring will soon be here: Gorgeous
Parts 1, 2, 3 (please read #3, at least). Emily is one of the most genuine, beautiful persons I know.
Valentine cookies too pretty too eat From Chocolate on my Cranium
For Writer's Block (which I blame on winter) from TeachinFourth
Quinoa for breakfast? Yes, please (I crave this, and love it topped it with all her suggestions)
I just finished Speak by Laurie Halse Andersen - it deals with difficult subject matter (teen rape, depression), but I think it's valuable for the discussions it will prompt. I want my kids to feel they can talk to us about anything, that we will always love them, even when bad things happen or they mess up. We are all just people, but we can learn, grow and become stronger because of or in spite of our circumstances.
Yesterday I had a traditional Chinese Acupuncture treatment (last time was western acupuncture in my trigger points,) and Nina warned me I might have an emotional release - I guess I'm an overachiever, I had two! Poor, Mr. O, but oh my, did it relax me.
I am still smelling of Icy Hot, downing ibuprofen, and sleeping with my rice bag but I can see the light at the end of this tunnel of pain. I thank the heavens above for my TENS units (scroll down).
Have a lovely weekend, what are your plans?
