NoNo NaNoWriMo

It's said that everyone has a novel in them. It's not true.

I am novel-less. Vignettes, however, I have aplenty. So I've decided to use November to catch up my journal writing. I'm just mentioning it here so I might actually follow through.

I'm also committing to daily exercise. I've been such a slacker since it got cold outside and haven't been running. I'll replace it with cardio and yoga and continue with weightlifting. I'm only 10 lbs away from my goal and I AM going to make it by Christmas (as long as I can stay away from the clearance priced Halloween candy).

I have absolutely no desire to be a writer. 50,000 words makes me want to throw up.

I love you anyway!

And your vignettes are priceless - I keep snickering at odd moments over the "I think I will betend it is my birthday and they'll HAVE to be nice to me!"

I wonder if it's too late for me to try the journal-writing-in-November thing. That's a great idea. I blog instead of journal writing any more, but there are so many things I would never put on my blog but really should make their way into my journal. (Or anyway a few crucial things.)

I've already forgotten where I read this, but just recently I heard something like, "Everyone has a novel in them, but for some the surgical extraction would be too dangerous."
