Won't you please?

So I'm thinking a new bloggy name is in order, but my mental coffers are a bit er, um EMPTY. I would love it if you'd play along and offer up a suggestion.

And in return, I've got a slew of beach reads (Meg Cabot and Sophie Kinsella) to give away so how about this?

One entry for each suggestion. And another entry for each tweet or post, just leave a comment. A drawing for the books in a few weeks, and a small quilt for the person who comes up with the new name. Quilt picture to come next week.

So, are you in?

Oh I want the quilt. Dang it. If only I were clever.
I won't be able to sleep tonight.

Do you have any idea what I would do for one of your quilts?

My muse is lost and my brain is tired. But I'm going to go deep (tomorrow) and come up with some ideas.

Compulsive and I are going to be in a battle just like in "Oklahoma" between Curly and Jud. I'm gonna have to throw in my saddle, gun, and horse, I suppose.

I need to watch that show again so I can have all the songs stuck in my head for days. Keep the ideas coming.

"LIVING ON THE LEDGE" (liked that word from your last post)-- with the sub "teetering on one breath at a time"

Cheesy, I know... but an entry nonetheless!

Dang I want the quilt too. I am going to be racking my brain. I also could use a good beach read. Next week I can't wait to go.

AAAAND TWOOOO BIIIIITS!

What kind of name are you looking for? In other words, how silly can I get?

Elizabeth-W said...

Thank you, Lilac. That is EXACTLY what I was talkin' about!

I say go for it! Any and all suggestions taken.

I'll give you a little help. I'm still going to talk about food, stuff I sew, my kids, and occasionally the stuff I think about. So basically, it's your ultimate self-absorbed blog.

I waited months to start my blog while I came up with a title, and still haven't joined Etsy (as a buyer) because whatever moniker I choose also would be my seller name (if I ever sold anything.) But I do want that quilt. (Not that I don't already have more than my fair share of your fine work.) Drat. I love titling blog posts, but a whole blog is another story. But I'll think about it.

Loving these ideas, let's have some more. I actually have two quilts for you to choose from. One is more modern and bright and the other is more traditional (blues, browns, reds and greens).
