My Bucket List

I'm talking about my new washer and dryer for the Home Tour edition of TAT

Things that have kicked it this year alone

Dishwasher
Water Heater
Dryer
Garbage Disposal
Hair Dryer
Stand Mixer
Vitamix
Family Room Carpet
and on Saturday...
Washer - it was 17.5 years old, so I suppose it was inevitable

This is what I'd love to replace the defunct laundry machines (in white)

It all brings new confirmation that yes, a house is a money pit.

I'd be jealous if they were red.

I am in love with your template, but I can't read your sidebar. Can you tweak the colors a bit so us hard-of-seeing ladies can read all your organicky goodness?

I wish they were red, but we're too darn boring/hate dusting. How does the sidebar look now? I'm just get gussied up for the holidays and may need to fix a few things.

Thanks for the feedback.

I feel your pain! My garbage disposal and washer died this year too. I did replace my washer and dryer with new front loading ones and they are cool!

Our house is a money pit too! Come on over and see what we are sinking our money into today!! Bye Bye savings account!

Wouldn't that be lovely to have blue or red. When we got our front loaders, we stayed boring and went with white. I wish I had got RED! Your site is so 'ORGANIC':)

Since your into the organic stuff...do you know anything about wheatgrass?

Yikes! I don't envy your list. But I love your layout! It is super cute!

Thank you! I have penchant for red and green - I wish the washer and dryer were red.

You don't know how tempted I am to call and cough up the extra 200 smackeroos!

Front loaders are so nice! I love mine. Sorry about all your break downs. I have the worst luck with hair dryers. I usually have to replace them at least once a year, at least they don't cost very much!

Your blog looks very pretty!!

I really like the w/d set in the blue (it is blue isn't it?)...

i won't even list all the things replaced in my house this year. the only real bummer is that you have a nice, new house (you know compared to my 90 yr old, falling apart heap.) i guess getting a new house won't solve all my woes?? :)

Much improved text colors! Way to go, my friend.

That's a sad list! We're spending all our money to finish our house but I'm sure it will start falling apart before we're done.

I love the blue! I'd love them even better if they were green!

In white? Royal blue is very becoming!

No worries, I haven't been commenting on anyone's the last few days. My girls have been looking with me and they are to impatient to wait. I must agree a house is a money pit. There is always something.

Ah, the appliances are always out to get us! In a grand attempt to sabotage a week I needed to be unbelieveably productive, my coffeemaker took a crap a few weeks ago.

Thankfully, our major appliances are brand new, well 1 1/2 years old when we bought the house, so hopefully, none of them will kick the bucket anytime soon!

Thanks for stopping by my blog to see my wee one's nursery! Come back by anytime!
