Behold! The Platform of Fire! This is our neighborhood's second annual Fourth of July celebration. It's only our second one because that's how long the FUN neighbors have been here. After the bbq is over and the sun goes down, the men set up two ladders and run planks of wood between them. They hose down the wood and voila! The Platform of Fire!
Or, alternatively, we can watch our neighbors (won't say who) light off their illegals (fireworks, that is)
I tried to upload a great video of the kids dancing in the strobe fireworks, but my ISP won't cooperate - maybe tomorrow.
