Pinch me, I must be dreaming

Two days ago the inside of my house turned a strange color as the sepia tones outside flooded in thorugh the front windows. It was so surreal I had to step outside and capture it. These images are straight out of the camera.

This is out my front door looking to the north.

And this is looking towards the south. Somewhere between the two the sky shifted from brown undertones to gray.

This is out the back door just before sunset, and still the front yard was bathed in a strange golden light.

Like this. It felt just like a dream I had once. One in which the lighting outside was so shimmery it felt like a sequined curtain. Like someone had gone and dipped the day in crushed pearls. Only darker.

And finally, sunset.

Put the spectacular sky pics on the cd too okay! Include the most interesting of the grandkids too. I'm going to get one of these digital frames like dad has and let them run all day. love ya

Whoa. I remember that. Big Daddy and I both looked up and wondered what makes the sky that color every once in a while.

Those are beautiful! That first one is almost unreal! I have lived in 5 states and I have never lived in one with more beautiful sunsets than your state! Those weren't even all sunset!
