Stuck on macro

Lately, I've had my viewfinder (literally and metaphorically) zoomed in.

Sure, there's a lot of detail to appreciate but I find the edges have grown blurry

And I really can't focus on the bigger picture.

I'm not sure what to do about it. Perhaps I need to step back

And get my bearings. Refocus, maybe.

It's just that it's so hard to do.

What a beautiful illustration...that refocusing is essential to sanity, I think, but as you said...so hard to do.

If you're too close you can't see clearly at all. If you're too far away, the same is true--Balance...so hard to get just right.

Beautiful. I think that what you said it is true, but sometimes the opposite is also true. There are times we need to zoom in and hyper-focus on the details of areas on our life and that is okay. It sounds like you are doing a great job however you are doing it!
