A few observations - you never know what you're gonna get

So I noticed that Miss Ellie had changed her clothes yet again and I asked her about it.

Oh, well when I be's mean to Copper (the dog) if I change my clothes then she 'finks I'm a different girl.

This would explain a lot about the state of her bedroom floor and the fact that the dog's current favorite spot is under the deck.

After church, a neighbor came up to me and said I'm glad to see you're still alive.

I sort of thought she was referring to my renewed church activity, but nope.

Your Ellie came up to me very sad-like and said, "My mom died today." I wondered if I'd missed something, but it's good to see you're still 'with' us.

Apparently my daughter thinks it's "Happy Mother's Die."

She is brilliant. Maybe if I change my clothes my kids will think I'm a different mom!

It's perfect logic. I look different. Dogs aren't that smart. Clever daughter!

Okay that first story shows just what a genius you have on your hands. Hilarious.
And the second one has made me laugh several times since I first read it a few days ago.
