On Saturday we attended my cousin Bree Despain's book launch of The Dark Divine at The King's English Bookstore in Salt Lake City. It was so crowded the hostess mentioned at the end of Bree's talk/reading that they host really famous authors there all the time and Bree totally kicked their butts with the crowd she packed in. I'm not kidding - it was standing room only - the entire bookstore was filled with people.
Me and my home girl, Bree. I love that girl (I know I'm looking pasty - I need to go to California, stat! Also, I was very sick, but I wouldn't miss that event for anything). It was fun to see her whole family, including siblings, and Alisha, another cousin I especially love.
Out in front with Michelle and our signed book. Michelle also scored some Dark Divine nail polish.
Getting our books signed in the Mystery Room. (One of Bree's boys is standing next to her - they were good as gold).
Bree and Michelle - can you believe Bree used to hang out with us when Michelle was just a preschooler?
There are more book signings coming up at several local Barnes & Noble's. I read my book in two sittings and loved it. It's a Prodigal-Son-Tale-Meets-Paranormal story. Read it, you'll love it. Click on the icon in my upper left sidebar and you can get a copy at a ridiculous price, unless of course, it's still sold out.
Way to go, girl!
