Hello, Saturday

We awoke to the unmistakable sound of this:

And it was very loud. Of course, we ran out in our jammies with the camera.

He was nearly level with our roofline and floating straight over our back yard - so he was also very close. Mr. O could've tossed a ball up to him.

The air was so cold and still, he fired the Helium every couple minutes just to stay above the houses.

And then he landed on the neighbor's house.

No, not really. He was headed to the park. I'm kicking myself now for not driving over there to snap a few more shots. Anyway, " Hello, Saturday you sure are looking lovely today."

We've had a few fly-overs before as well! Why do they always come so early in the morning when you have to run out in PJ's?! It's a conspiracy!

We watched this same guy land in the field by the high school last Saturday, we were on our way home from our last soccer game and he was coming down so we zoomed over speedy-quick and had a front row view of the touchdown and deflating of the balloon. The kids thought it was great!

I've always wanted to ride in one of those, then my fear of heights kicks in and I just gaze from the solid ground. Very cool to have those fly over head. I would love to see some fly into our valley someday and land in our alfalfa fields. That would be neat!

Awesome photos! I'm always excited when the kids can see something out-of-the-ordinary on an ordinary day...
