A little mystery is good

Sometimes a gal needs a little mad money - really, who wants her hubby to know she blew $7.50 on onion rings and a shake or that her new lashes-in-a-tube came with the hefty price tag of $10? (Not that Mr. O cares about such things) Still, a girl needs some mystery in her life. So...every once in awhile I withdraw a little cash and treat myself. Mysteriously.

But really, how mysterious can it be when my idea of changing it up involves parting my hair on the opposite side I normally do? BTW, Mr. O kinda likes it, says it makes me look a little wild. (Wild is good, right?)

One of my favorite treats so far has been a product from Bath and Body Works called Heel of Approval. The dry winter air really wreaks havoc on my heels. I've only used the product for 10 days and have noticed a huge difference. My feet are much smoother (which means they can no longer be used as weapons in late night under-the-cover wars, drat!) and the cracks are well on their way to disappearing. At this rate, my feet will be flip-flop ready by the time the sun decides to stick around. So, how come I never knew about products like this? Are there any others I'm missing out on? Please tell me about your favorite foot care products.

(Also, please click on the FOLLOW link to your upper left so I won't feel like a loser. Thank you, that is all). Stop by We are THAT Family to find more backwards WFMW.

I, too, have heels of danger.
How is this better than any other foot thing and socks at bedtime?
Cause is this is better, I'm willing to try it.

I cannot believe how many months it's been since I have had a pedicure! My feet look HORRIBLE!

It has glycolic acid in it (which doesn't sound very organic, I know) but it makes my heels feel so much softer without them feeling greasy or making my feet feel hot.

I still put socks on at night, but I'll tell you it only took two days to feel the difference. Let me know what you think.

Not foot-specific, but I am a long-time lover of Neutrogena Norweigian-Formula Hand Cream. It's the best!

I am getting some of this stuff to try it out. I've been using Kerasal, but I'm not impressed. My heels are gross. Gross. And then they crack and hurt. So if this stuff works I will be so thankful!

My dermatologist gave me a scrip once for some stuff to help. But at $70 a tube, I just couldn't do it! But $10 a tub is doable. :)

PS......are you going to follow me? I might actually put the gadget up if I get more than a couple...

Andrea - of course I will follow you. We can be back in junior high together :)

My feet usually get yucky in the summer - sandal feet. So I'll try it then!
And I couldn't believe I wasn't following you! I am now! (And I may have to steal your technique!)

That sounds like a great product. My husband gave me a tube of Loccitane Shea Butter foot cream as a gift once and I absolutely love it, but it is about $25 for a tube and I would probably never buy it for myself. It does feel great though and makes my feet tingle a little bit, which I love.
