Nothing gets past her
Last week, my niece was over playing with Ellie, my three year old. In the middle of playing, Ellie went over to a table-top chalkboard on which she had set up a felt checkerboard as a makeshift keyboard.
I asked Ellie if she'd like to play Polly Pockets with her cousin. She said, "Just a minute mom - I need to check my blog first." And then she turned around, peered earnestly at the chalkboard and started "typing" on her little keyboard.
