A Halloween tradition

Presenting: butcher paper ghosts

Just cut out ghostly shapes (even the eyes, nose and mouths), outline with a black Sharpie on the side facing out, and tape them up. They make a great silhouette when it's dark outside and the lights are on. The kids love them! Roll them up after Halloween is over and save them for next year.

Wow yours are so much cuter than mine. I have had mine for quite a few years. I think they need an update. My big ones get ripped so I do a lot of little ones. Yours look great. I always loved this holiday tradition. Kel

No....but HOW FUN!!

Those are way cuter than the cardboard spooks (with those claspy things that make the arms and legs bend) we used to scotch tape to our windows.

Love the ghosts. My kids have been begging to decorate for Halloween, so we'll have to steal your idea.

PS Love your blog background! How did you do that?
