Blogher '11 - Let's Get This Party Started

San Diego is lovely. But you knew that. It is even lovelier with friends. Last night we ate at Ocean Air which was a complete indulgence--the crabmeat in the giant stuffed shrimp was melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

Then it was pool time where we met up with Allison from Petit Elefant, Marie from Make and Takes, Rachel from Today's Mama, and Laurie from Tip Junkie - more lovely people.

This morning we slept in, like you do on all the best vacations, and then headed to Richard Walker's Pancake house to queue up.

It was worth the wait for a Belgian Waffle with fresh whipped cream and perfectly-ripened strawberries.

The ambiance wasn't bad either.
