Learning Styles

My friend Cocoa blogged about this site (scroll towards the bottom) where you can take a test to see which styles of learning suit you most. I couldn't figure out how to get my results graph on here, but here are the results.

Linguistic: 42
Mathematics: 33
Visual/Spatial: 38
Body/Kinesthetic: 32
Naturalistic: 30
Music: 22
Interpersonal: 33
Intrapersonal: 34

I have to say the whole 'music not being my strength' thing was not a big surprise. And anyone who knows me will definitely say that linguistic is my main learning style. Here's a little info about my top two learning styles. Check it out, I'd love to hear how you learn.

Linguisitic Learner
likes to: read, write and tell stories.
is good at: memorizing names, places, dates and trivia.
learns best by: saying, hearing and seeing words.

Spatial Learner
likes to: draw, build, design and create things, daydream, look at pictures/slides, watch movies and play with machines.
is good at: imagining things, sensing changes, mazes/puzzles and reading maps, charts.
learns best by: visualizing, dreaming, using the mind's eye and working with colors/pictures.

I have a child who is a kinesthetic learner, one who is naturalistic, and another who is definitely visual/spatial. We're all so different.
